Mr. George Vartenigian

Retired Physics teacher & Dept.Head of Science from Norwich Free Academy. Worked with C-”Teams” at Physics Department of the University of Connecticut for 3 years. Currently serving as the Science Department Chair at St.Thomas More school. He holds a BA, MED and 6th year degrees. Resides in Norwich Connecticut with his wife.

Mr. Robert V. Erickson

A Retired Laboratory Supervisor/Coordinator from University of Connecticut Physics Department on the Storrs Campus.

During his tenure at UConn he actively helped develope and repair existing demonstrations for the lectures in Physics, as well as develop the procedures for interacting computers in the teaching labs and developed techniques for teaching Physics through laboratories. Mr. Erickson received a BA in Physics from the University of Connecticut.

Statement of purpose

1. Increase the students awareness
to the science occurring around
them and help them to “see” the science in everyday life.

2. Enhance class room science
programs by showing the students
visual connections to concepts.

3. Help the student to understand
enough science to be able to ask
better and more direct questions.

We have programs designed for all
levels from Pre K thru 12th grades.
We meet with teachers, principles to
plan a series of demonstrations to
meet the classroom needs.
